How we Started
My name is Yolindie Botha, the extremely proud owner and soul director of Lollipop Lingerie! I have built a very successful business over a period of almost 13 years.
I was in my early 20s when this genius idea came to me, after applying the BIG SECRET to my life. (Do me a favor and go study these phenomenal laws of the universe found in great books or other sources like the internet.)
This changed my messed-up life from a disaster to pure ecstasy. I’m such a believer and proof that this is real and works. I want to share this with everyone because this was life-changing for me!
I had a dream, and I knew I could achieve it, I went for what I wanted, and I truly worked very hard to get to where I am today. I’m not overconfident, but I’m a go-getter and I never give up no matter how impossible something looks or seems. I KNOW I CAN DO IT!
When I was younger, I used to stand and stare at lingerie shops, in awe, just loving the way lingerie looked and made me feel. I had no money to buy it for myself. I wished I could wear all those beautiful sexy lingerie items, but I simply could not afford it. Then I started putting clothing items and accessories together and made myself some awesome role-play outfits to impress my other half. I was hooked! I love lingerie so much BUT man oh man do I freaken LOVE role-playing and dress-up even more! I wanted to be anything or anyone I could ever imagine.
There is nothing more gorgeous for me than lingerie. To this day, although my business sells hundreds of lingerie items, I will still buy myself lingerie from other lingerie suppliers, just because! I tend to get tired of my own ranges, not because they are not amazing but because I see them all the time; so I spoil myself with other beautiful lingerie from my competitors LOL!
My business didn’t start off doing too well. I started my own website named Pinned-Up Lingerie. I had a decent job, but I was so unhappy. I hated the fact of sitting in traffic for hours, working for a terrible boss and not having enough time to spend with my daughter. I refused to live this way for the rest of my life. Then one day I was invited to a Halloween party. I was obviously so excited because I loved dressing up and role-playing. I wanted a sexy little outfit and started searching the internet for hot nurse, French maid, schoolgirl dress-up role-playing lingerie sets. I did go as a naughty little devil in the end though!
I found that there weren’t a lot of online shops selling these items, I started doing some research, and BOOM the idea came to me. I saw this one online lingerie shop “Lollipop Lingerie” and I was over the moon. I asked the owner if I could be an agent for her in the PTA and JHB area, as she was based in Durban. She told me that she wanted to sell Lollipop as this wasn’t her passion, I HAD TO DO THIS… This was MY dream for sure. This was my dream coming true and I was immediately excited to pursue it. Unfortunately, I could not get a big enough loan from the bank to buy it, but then decided to start my own little business and online shop called Pinned-Up Lingerie as mentioned before.
The beginning was hard. But I refused to give up on my dream. I worked 24/7 doing 5 bachelorettes and lingerie parties a weekend. My family and friends told me this was not going to work, I refused to let anyone know I was struggling to make ends meet, so I made as if it was a huge success. I couldn’t even afford petrol for my car to drive my daughter to school, so I walked there and back 10 km a day but refused to ask anyone for help! I HAD TO MAKE THIS WORK. Eventually my business grew a bit, enough to also buy over my biggest competitor 6 months later. Lollipop Lingerie!!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WHAT I DO!
The passion I have for my business is insane. I have not “worked” one single day since I started this business. I wake up every morning, excited to start working and excited to start my day. Oh, how lucky I am.
Although my business has grown a lot and I don’t really work that much anymore, having a great team who runs it for me, I still put in a lot of effort to build it even greater and bigger EVERY DAY.
I have made many mistakes in my life, made A LOT of wrong decisions, I have always been judged by others for my past and the nature of my business.
BUT CAN I GIVE A FLYING DAMN!?? NO, I REALLY DONT! If you don’t like me or what I’m all about, its truly your problem not mine.
I am a definitely a little bit crazy, no I’m actually dead serious HAHA. I am truly not ordinary; I don’t care what anyone thinks about me or my terrible past. Yes, I might have the best reputation, but I use this as a driving force to impower myself and I strive to inspire people, that no matter how bad life looks, there is always a way to succeed and reach your greatest goals and dreams.
I am a single mother of three beautiful children. I adore being a mom. I simply live for my three kids and my fourth baby “Lollipop Lingerie”. I have such a passion for what I do, and I have learned one fundamental fact of life… PASSION CREATES SUCCESS! This is one of the biggest laws of the universe! So never quit, no matter how hard it gets, no matter how much the odds are against you or your dream/goal. GO FOR IT. If you truly want something badly enough. It MUST manifest in your life. You can have whatever you want if you truly believe it, you WILL receive it!

now a bit about Lollipop Lingerie.
Our main aim is to bring FUN, EXCITEMENT and CLOSENESS into a relationship. It is wonderful what a huge influence or difference our products can do to build a strong bond between two lovers. This has been our main purpose from the very start. I don’t think people have any idea or clue how much sexy lingerie, or sex toys can build a happier, successful marriage or relationship.
We cater for all sizes, all types of figures, all tastes. I have seen the huge market for Plus size lingerie in SA from the start, and we have so many sexy, beautiful items for the more voluptuous ladies.
I can’t even count the numerous mails and messages I’ve received from ladies who have literally cried, because I have made them feel seductive and feel like an absolute goddess by catering for their size.
We want to make every single woman feel like a seductive, gorgeous sex goddess for her other half. This is Lollipop’s main aim.
We have won International Awards for being the BEST lingerie business in SA. We have also been on TV numerous times, been published in magazines etc. I’m truly blessed to have built such a phenomenally beautiful and successful business and I’m even luckier that I absolutely ADORE AND LOVE what it do!
